OUTCOME: Angela Davis and Bill Milliken Jr. were elected to the Washtenaw Community College board of trustees. With 65.87% turnout, Davis and Milliken received 15.21% and 15.36% of votes, respectively. For more results, check the Washtenaw County elections site.

Anna Zinkel is a business development manager at Ann Arbor SPARK, an economic development agency. This is her first bid for elected office.

Prior to joining SPARK in 2015, Zinkel served as a scheduler and internship program coordinator for Democrat Gary Peters’ 2014 U.S. Senate campaign. She previously worked as constituent relations director for State Rep. Gretchen Driskell. Zinkel currently is a board member of the Women's Exchange of Washtenaw and Friends In Deed of Washtenaw County. She is active in the Ann Arbor Democratic Club and the Washtenaw County Democratic Party.

Zinkel is a 2012 graduate of the University of Michigan, earning a bachelor’s degree in English. She lives on Ann Arbor’s south side.
