State House District 52
OUTCOME: Donna Lasinski was elected to the State House of Representatives for District 52.
Donna Lasinski is founder and president of ThinkStretch LLC, an Ann Arbor firm that developed and markets the ThinkStretch Summer Learning Program. She is a trustee of the Ann Arbor Public Schools Board of Education, elected in 2014 for a term that runs through 2018. She serves as the board's treasurer.
Lasinski prevailed over Barb Fuller in the Aug. 2, 2016 Democratic primary. She'll face Republican Randy Clark on Nov. 8.
Prior to her election to the AAPS board, Lasinski was active in the school district, including several leadership roles in the PTO. Lasinski has an undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Michigan and a master’s of business administration from Northwestern University.
She is married to Mike Lasinski, CEO of 284Partners, and lives in Scio Township. The couple has three teenage sons.
