D'Real Graham
D'Real Graham is program manager at 826michigan, a nonprofit writing center in Ann Arbor. He is co-founder of Radical Washtenaw (RAW), a group of activists that formed after an Ann Arbor police officer killed Aura Rosser in November 2014.
Graham serves as a member of the Ypsilanti Community-Police Relations Task Force subcommittee that focuses on incentivizing residency for first responders. In November 2012 he was elected to the Ypsilanti Public Schools board in an uncontested race, but on that same ballot voters approved a merger of Ypsilanti and Willow Run public schools, creating the Ypsilanti Community Schools district. He applied for a position on the new YCS board but was not appointed. Graham has previously served on the boards of the Ypsilanti Area Jaycees and Growing Hope.
Graham has studied at Washtenaw Community College and Eastern Michigan University. He lives in Ypsilanti Township.
