Who's Running for Governor?

There are six candidates for Michigan governor on the ballot in the Nov. 6, 2018 general election, running for a four-year term.

The current governor, Republican Rick Snyder, is term limited and cannot seek re-election.

Why aren't we providing more information about these candidates? The Ann Arbor Votes site focuses on local races. Because of our limited resources – and because the governor's race is widely covered elsewhere – we trust that you’ll be able to find plenty of information about these candidates.
