Harmony Mitchell has been a resident of Ann Arbor since 2011. She is running on a slate with Jeff Gaynor and Hunter Van Valkenburgh. This is her first bid for elected office.

Mitchell is a graduate of Hampton University. She is married to Lester Mitchell and has four children, including three who are students in Ann Arbor Public Schools.
