Hunter Van Valkenburgh

Hunter Van Valkenburgh is an attorney specializing in family law, estate planning and probate court work. He’s a former public school teacher and previously ran for AAPS board in 2014, coming in fifth in a race for four seats. This year he is running on a slate with Jeff Gaynor and Harmony Mitchell.

Van Valkenburgh’s 10th-grade twins attend AAPS. He is married to Aina Bernier, a teacher. The family lives in the Water Hill neighborhood.
