Linh Song

Linh Song is executive director of the Ann Arbor Public Schools Educational Foundation. This is her first bid for elected office. She is running on a slate with Victoria Green, Colleen Sherman and Jamie Vander Broek.

Song started her career in marketing management for two local tech startups – Anzen Computing and Cybernet Systems. She also was founder of the nonprofit Mam Non Organization, and former executive director of Ethica, an adoption and anti- trafficking group in Washington, DC. She directed a technology support program at Nonprofit Enterprise at Work in Ann Arbor and is former trustee of the Ann Arbor Awesome Foundation. She is a lecturer at the University of Michigan School of Social Work and serves on the boards of The CivCity Initiative, The Neutral Zone, the University Musical Society and the Orchard Hills Athletic Club. She is president of the Glacier Highlands Neighborhood Association and a member of the Ann Arbor Rotary Club.

Song holds a bachelor’s degree from UM in political science and a master’s degree in social work, also from UM. She is married to Dug Song, founder & CEO of Duo Security. They have two school-age children and live in the Glacier-Highlands neighborhood on Ann Arbor’s northeast side.
