Teri Aiuto

Teri Aiuto is a real estate broker who is running for a two-year term in the State House of Representatives for District 52. She was unopposed in the Aug. 7 Republican primary and faces Democrat incumbent Donna Lasinski in the Nov. 6 general election.

In 2016, Aiuto filed paperwork to run in the District 52 Republican primary, but subsequently withdrew from the ballot.

Aiuto served as Sharon Township clerk – an elected position – from 1996-2012. Sharon Township is located in southwest Washtenaw County, just north of Manchester. She also served on the township's zoning board for 18 years, from 1994-2012.

Aiuto is co-owner of Manchester Real Estate and the former owner of a local landscaping business.

Aiuto has a bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University. She has two sons and lives in Sharon Township.

Aiuto is serving as treasurer for her own campaign.
