Who's Running on Aug. 7?

The Aug. 7 ballot includes local competitive primary races for Ann Arbor Mayor and City Council, Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners, the Michigan State Legislature and more.

If you're ready to see a SAMPLE BALLOT, click here.

Although this site focuses on Ann Arbor races, we also include information for county, state and (to some extent) national candidates. And our More Voter Resources page provides links to help voters who don't live in Ann Arbor. Check out our Voter Basics page with details about the voting process.

NOTE: This is a primary election. You will need to choose the ballot for either the Democratic Party, Republican Party or Libertarian Party. We list all candidates, but in the primary election, candidates are only competing within their own political party. The winners of these primary elections will face off in the Nov. 6 general election.

Finally, don't forget that there are ballot proposals too – and of course, we're here to help. Good luck – GO TEAM DEMOCRACY!!
