Who's Running for Washtenaw Community College Board?

The seven-member Washtenaw Community College Board of Trustees provides oversight and sets policy for the college, and is responsible for the hiring and evaluation of WCC’s president. These are nonpartisan, unpaid positions with six-year terms. This year, two seats are on the Nov. 6 ballot and only the two incumbents – Richard Landau and Diana McKnight-Morton – are running.

Roughly 18,000 students register for in-person and online courses each year. WCC’s campus is located in Superior Township, between Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. It has a budget of roughly $104 million and is supported by countywide taxes.
