Will Leaf

Will Leaf is co-founder of Neutral Skin and Hair, a company that manufactures a mineral sunscreen and sells it online. In 2015 he ran against and was defeated by incumbent Sabra Briere in the Ward 1 Democratic primary.

Leaf has been publicly visible through his advocacy for city zoning reform, shaping the policy platform for Ann Arbor city council candidates in 2013 who ran under the banner of the Mixed Use Party. He has also advocated for privacy controls on police video surveillance. In October 2015 he was appointed to the city’s housing and human services advisory board.

Leaf grew up in Ann Arbor and is a 2012 graduate of the University of Michigan, with a bachelor's degree in general studies focusing on economics and Russian language. He is not married and lives the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood.
